He went to Tavoy College and Moulmein University for study Burmese Literature.(There is no journalism in Burma at the time). He became a member of ABSDF (All Burma Students' Democratic Front) after military coup in Sept 18, 1988. He worked 12-years for the ABSDF and 15-years for DVB (Democratic Voice of Burma). He is now a Freelance journalist. He published a book called "Far from Home: 20 Years in Exile" in Thailand in 2008. Five years later, he published a new book called "Marathon Journey of A Student Rebel" in Burmese at Yangon on May, 2013. He is now writing a new book on his life with DVB. To be publish soon.
